Cheetah is a grace animal. I love their way to run and catch their prey. Cheetah is built for speed. It is destined to be the fastest land mammal but unfortunately, the speed is not coming without any consequences. On the following list, I have 10 Cheetah facts . 1. Cheetah is crowned as the fastest land mamma l in the world. It can reach a top speed at 120km/h and capable to reach 103km/h in less than 4 seconds. However, Cheetah is not born with any cooling system. They only run in high speed for view seconds and often it is not enough to catch a delicious gazelle

2. Cheetahs don’t drink water as often as other mammals. If they don’t find a river, they take water from the moisture and the blood of their prey.

3. While chasing prey, the cheetah’s lung is enlarge to absorb more oxygen. They breathe 150 times oxygen per minute while during the high speed hunter.

4. Unlike big families of cat (Tigers or lions), cheetah does not roar. It purrs like a small cat on your house .When cheetah running, it controls the high speed of the run with the retractable claws under its paws.

5. A female cheetah matures after 2 years. The females commonly mate with more than one males and it delivers 3-5 new cubs usually after 3 months of pregnancy.

6. In average, Cheetah is 3.5 to 4.5 feet long without its tail. The weight is around 75-150 lbs and the male is usually bigger than the females. Cheetah is stringy and has a small head. The life expectancy is 8-10 years in wilderness and 15-17 years in captivity.

7. It is not a new fact that Cheetah is an endangered species . Hunting and the lost of the ecosystem makes the animal should work harder and harder to find its prey. Captivity is not a solution for the free animal. Cheetah is already extinct in India since 1940 but now, the government is trying to return the animal back to the natural house

8. Cheetah usually lives in Open area such as grasslands and savannah, the belly is white and has no spots. While they were just born, they have long gray fur and long manes on the neck and shoulder that will disappear after they are older. Effectively, they use their long tail as a steer.

9. Cheetah has a good sense of smell and listened but the best sense of the animal is their sights.

10. Cheetah used to be petted in the ancient Egypt Empire. Akbar the Great, Mughal empire ruler from 1556-1605, used to raise 1000 cheetahs on his palace.
